Lead by an experienced industry professional who is not only a specialist safeguarding trainer but also a dance school owner, you're in great hands with our Safeguarding for Dance Teachers course.
This session is the one you need if you are the Designated Safeguarding Lead for your organisation (that includes if you're a freelancer who works alone!)

The session will include a tea break as well as the opportunity to ask any safeguarding questions you may have. Specific questions about your pupils/school/safeguarding issues can be sent privately via email after the session.
You must already have up-to-date safeguarding training (completed in the last 2 years) in order to take this course.
 
ABOUT
Our safeguarding course is designed for anyone working with children, adults, or both.
If you're the DSL, school principal, or a freelance teacher working solo, this is the course you need!
Those taking the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead are required to undertake in-depth training further to their regular adult/child training.
Recap signs/symptoms/indicators of harm and abuse to adults and children
Appropriately managing disclosure
Handling allegations
Supporting your team
Recording concerns and reporting to the appropriate places
This training is equivalent to 'level 3 safeguarding'.
All sessions are delivered online via Zoom.
You will have access to resources to keep, and time to ask any questions you may have.
Training is live and will not be recorded due to the nature of our discussions.
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
Safeguarding training should be renewed every 2-3 years.
