13th July 2025: 09.00-13.00: Designated Safeguarding Lead
The Designated Safeguarding Lead course is suitable for dance awarding bodies, companies, franchises or large schools who have more than one member of teaching staff and so need a Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure good practice, continuity of care and effective information sharing.
This course provides essential professional development with a focus on the dance industry and is delivered by safeguarding specialist with extensive professional experience in working for dance organisations to support good safeguarding practice and to address safeguarding concerns.
This course may also be of help to individual teachers and schools who manage their safeguarding responsibilities alone and want to ensure they are highly skilled and making the best decisions for their students and their schools.
This course builds upon the Safeguarding for Dance Professionals course and it is recommended to take that course before starting this learning.
